To generate your rent agreement, we collect the following data as entered by you:

• Identity Information: Full names of landlord, tenant, and witnesses
• Government IDs: PAN number (mandatory), Aadhaar number (optional for landlord/tenant, mandatory for witnesses)
• Contact Information: Phone numbers, addresses
• Property Details: Address, type, area, furnishing status
• Financial Details: Rent amount, security deposit (for inclusion in the agreement only)
• Payment Data: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details

2. Purpose of Collection

Your data is collected solely for the following purposes:

• Generating your legally formatted rent agreement PDF
• Processing your payment of Rs.199 via Stripe
• Providing customer support if you contact us

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than stated above.

3. How We Handle Your Data

We do not store your personal data on our servers. Your form data is temporarily held in your browser's session storage during the agreement generation process and is cleared immediately after PDF generation. The PDF is generated on our secure server, returned to your browser, and not retained.

4. Aadhaar and PAN Data

We treat PAN and Aadhaar numbers as Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) under Indian law. These numbers are:

• Collected only because they are required in legally valid rent agreements
• Used solely for inclusion in your agreement PDF
• Not stored, logged, or transmitted to any third party beyond Stripe (which does not receive this data)
• Processed in compliance with Section 29 of the Aadhaar Act 2016

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We do not retain your personal data. Form data exists only in your browser session during the agreement generation flow and is deleted immediately after. Payment transaction records are maintained by Stripe as per their retention policy and RBI requirements.
